8 Inspirational Guidance Tips

Whenever I’m feeling stuck, unmotivated or lacking direction I turn to these inspirational guidance tips to get myself back on track.

Whenever your feeling stuck, unmotivated or lacking direction you can turn to these inspirational guidance tips to help reset your mind, body and soul.

When things are amiss in my life I know that my personal energy & the energy around me needs to cleared in order to be open & receptive to the new. Follow the Inspirational guidance steps below for my process to be awakened to a fresh new burst of positive inspirational energy.

  1. Start the day with a glass of warm water with the juice of half a lemon.

The scent of lemon also has mood enhancing and energising properties. The smell of lemon juice can brighten your mood and help clear your mind. Lemon can also help reduce anxiety and depression.

  1. Aromatherapy

Change your state of mind & induce a sense of renewed clarity with aromatherapy. Aromatherapy is most efficient when inhaling essential oils from a tissue, diffusing them in a vaporiser, or adding them to your bathwater. The aroma sends a signal, directly through our senses, which in turn influences our emotions. Aromatherapy can help to lift depression, soothe irritable nerves and generally encourage a better state of mind. This is why essential oils have such a powerful effect on our moods and general state of mind. Relaxing oils such as lavender, sweet marjoram, clary sage, sandalwood, frankincense & ylang ylang work by stimulating a neuro-chemical called serotonin that is naturally produced by the body to help relaxation.

  1. Bath

Take an Epsom salt bath with aromatherapy oils to help further clear any unwanted negative energies.

Follow this nurturing relaxation recipe to soothe the soul & drain away negative energy to leave you feeling refreshed & renewed.

Fill a bath & add some Epsom salts, mix in a good 10 drops of rose geranium pure aromatherapy oil & 10 drops of lavender oil. This combination is like magic & will soothe your cares away. If you don’t have a bath you can still benefit from the magic of this aromatherapy blend by putting a few drops of each in the corner of the shower. Let the fragrant steam permeate your senses & visualise all the negative energy washing away as the water cascades down your body.

  1. Salt Lamps

If you don’t own a salt lamp, I would suggest you invest in one. I have 6 around my house & I couldn’t live without them. Not only are they gorgeous but the benefits are manyfold.

Himalayan salt lamps release negative ions into the air, which purify & can help reduce anxiety & encourage a relaxing atmosphere. Once negative ions reach the bloodstream, they’re believed to produce biochemical reactions that increase levels of the mood chemical serotonin, helping alleviate depression, relieve stress & boost daytime energy.

  1. Yoga

Moving your body is a great way to get energy flowing through again. Yoga is particularly good as it focuses on moving stagnant energy through & out of the body.

  1. Meditation

Meditation is great for de-stressing and to clearing any mental or emotional blocks that may be present. By stilling & calming your mind you create more space for energy to flow.

  1. Oracle Cards

After clearing all the old stagnant negative energy in your body & surroundings you’ve now cleared the way for inspirational guidance to come through. Now is a good time to affirm “I am open & receptive to receive the loving inspirational guidance that I am seeking”.

I love to use oracle cards to help guide me with this process. By the law of attraction, you will only draw messages that are meant for you & your situation. Trust the process, go with the flow & enjoy it. My personal favourites at the moment are the magical mermaids & dolphin’s oracle card deck by Doreen Virtue.

  1. Journal

Now that all old energies are cleared & you’ve opened yourself up to receive inspirational loving guidance it is the perfect time to write in a journal. Write down any images, or flashes of inspiration that come to you at this time & follow through.

Trust the process & enjoy!

With the new year just around the corner, give yourself the gift the best year yet by following these rituals for an amazing 2017!!

Below is an article by Barbara Biziou which is exceptionally inspiring in preparing for the new year ahead!

You can visit her website here http://barbarabiziou.com/

Hope you enjoy!

The first 12 days of January represent the whole year. Jan. 1 stands for the month of January, while Jan. 2 stands for February, and so on.

By practicing loving kindness, openness, and generosity while giving thoughtful attention to the significance of each day, you can consecrate the coming year.

But first, here are two rituals you can try to invite more love and prosperity into your life:

  1. Ritual for love

Wear new red underwear on New Year’s Day to bring in love.

  1. Ritual for prosperity

For good luck and prosperity, you can throw money into your home the first time you enter it in the new year. If you are staying home on New Year’s Eve, go to your front door at 12:01am and throw coins or paper money into the front door. Bless it with your “inspirations” for the new year.

On Jan. 2, you could give some money away freely as a sign to the universe that YOU ARE PROSPEROUS.

Now, focus on the following keywords each day for the first 12 days of the new year. Each of these words can evoke a special energy that will make your new year special.

Jan. 1: Breath

As you focus on your breath, you actually can breathe in the inspiration you desire. Breathe in love, creativity, joy, health and prosperity. Allow the universe to gift you with energy to invite your best self forward.

Jan. 2: Love

Today is the day to be more loving and compassionate toward yourself. Learn to be compassionate in the areas where you tend to resist. Ask yourself, how can I be more loving today? Then reach out to others. Smile, be kind and send a loving note to a friend or family member.

Jan. 3: Renewal

Use nature to renew your body and spirit. Nature is a window into the world of the divine — with the four great elements representing the physical manifestation of spirit into matter. Spend some time just looking at the sky, or take a walk in the park, on the beach or in the woods, listen to birds sing, hold a rock or crystal to remind you to ground your energy and of course, watch a sunrise or sunset.

Jan. 4: Smell

Of all of our five senses, smell is the only one that goes directly to our brain. Experiment with different scents to see how you feel. Vanilla works well to lift your mood. Orange boosts your energy, while chamomile or lavender may calm you down. Jasmine is a wonderful aphrodisiac and rose is often associated with opening your heart.

Jan. 5: Play

When we get over-serious and try to figure everything out, we lose our spontaneity and creativity. Fun is a good thing, so allow your playful inner child to come out. Go to a playground and swing on a swing, ride a bike, get some Legos and build a castle, take out the finger paints and let it rip, or put on some upbeat music and move.

Jan. 6: Present

Life can pass you by if you are so busy making plans and doing stuff. We forget to just BE. Focus on one thing at a time, unplug from your smart phone and computer for five minutes every hour if you can, take a deep breath every time your phone rings, be conscious of walking on the earth — one step at a time, really listen to yourself and others.

Jan. 7: Purify

You wouldn’t think of going to an important event in dirty clothes, so why not pay attention to cleansing your energy field, as well as your physical space. Do some spring clearing, throw out old broken items, spray lemon water around your office, use your morning bath or shower as a ritual of purification, let go of old emotions that no longer serve you, shred old letters that hold negative associations, delete any email that is not positive.

Jan. 8: Honor

By loving and honoring the body you have, you can bring more health and flexibility into your life. Be conscious of what you put into your body, and try starting the day off with gentle stretches. You can also walk instead of driving or taking the elevator, rest when you are tired and take short breaks during the day.

Jan. 9: Creativity

Doing something new builds new brain cells, so experiment with something you would normally consider “out of the box.”

Jan. 10: Wisdom

Read inspirational books, talk to an elder, mentor someone, honor your inner wisdom and pay attention to your intuition.

Jan. 11: Abundance

Say this affirmation 27 times today:

Huge sums of money flow to me rapidly, abundantly and effortlessly. I am truly needed and my talents, services and products are always in great demand.

Jan. 12: Gratitude

Bless everything you have, including your body. Send notes of appreciation to friends and family members; see how many times you can say “thank you” to the universe for the many blessings you have in life.

She explains that every one of us possesses 6 innate powers, that when neglected, will result in a lack of clarity (Where did I put my keys?); a lack of passion (Not tonight, I’m too tired); and a feeling of being overwhelmed (There’s no way I can get that report done by five). Using enlightening self-assessment questions, practical exercises and journaling pages, she shows readers how to harness each power to make true life changes in just 8 weeks. It’s entirely possible to live the life you want. You can have less stress and more passion; less frustration and more fulfillment –this book will show you how.

I hope you find a source of inspiration from one of these titles on your own healing journey.

Daily Rituals For A Beautiful Life

Daily Rituals for A Beautiful Life. Incorporate these 8 daily practices into your routine & positively transform your overall life & well-being.

Life gets hectic & we start to lose sight of basic, but crucial self-care practices. How can we possibly expect to give the best of ourselves to the world when we are burnt out, stressed & running on empty? Let the following serve as a guideline to get back to basics, by putting yourself first so you can give the best version of you to the world & start living a more beautiful fulfilling life.

1. Rise an hour Earlier

Waking up earlier alleviates a lot of unnecessary stress & allows time for crucial self-care practices with no disturbances. This will end up being easier than you think. By waking up earlier you will start going to bed earlier thus developing a new time frame for your body clock. Start off small at first but the benefits will enable you to start the day off in a much more positive & stress free way.

2. Exercise

This can be as simple as a daily 30 minute walk every morning or run if you prefer. It is great for your overall health, will help keep stress levels down throughout the day & help you to start the day feeling more energised.

3. Practice Yoga

By establishing a daily yoga practice into your morning, it will lower overall stress levels, help you start the day in a calm state of mind & make you nice & limber for the day ahead. 10 minutes will do just nicely, if you have more time, go for it!

4. Meditate

Start the day with clarity. Just a 10-minute session will make all the difference and enable you to handle whatever the day may bring.

5. Gratitude Journal

Keep the morning vibes positive. Write down at least 3 things you are grateful for, if you can think of more, great! Watch your happiness, health, relationships & overall life improve with this transformational daily practice!

6. Take an Epsom salt bath

Ideally you would schedule time for this ritual everyday but it is not always possible with busy schedules! Try to take the time out for this highly beneficial practice at least a few times a week of an evening, the benefits are worth it! Not only is an Epsom salt bath great for sore, tired muscles but it also helps detoxify the body & dissipates any negative energy stored throughout the day. Try adding some soothing aromatherapy oil such as lavender for an even more blissful experience.

7. Read

Continue to ease into the evening with a good book to soothe the soul before bed.

Reading before bed is a great way to clear the mind from all the unnecessary inner chatter of the day. If you can, try to read something uplifting & motivational to help end the day on a positive note. Otherwise something you enjoy will help you switch off & unwind. A great habit to get into is to switch from watching television in the evenings to reading a book!

8. Listen to guided meditation

To conclude the daily rituals for a beautiful life, end the day by entering into a sweet slumber with a guided meditation.

If you make the time to incorporate these 8 practices into your daily routine the difference you will notice within yourself & your life will be astounding. What are you waiting for?!

 A beautiful life awaits you!
