“This one book can make a big difference in your life. It’s filled with the kind of spiritual and practical wisdom that can bring peace to your inner and outer worlds.” – Tian Dayton, author, therapist Do you feel like something is missing in your life? Do you feel like you’re always playing “catch up?” Do you feel stressed out a lot of the time? If so, there is a way to make your hectic life a happy one and to feel fulfilled instead of frazzled at the end of the day. Sharon Wegscheider-Cruse, who sparked a movement with her book Learning to Love Yourself, sheds new light on the all-important issue of balance in this breakthrough book. Rather than tout outward solutions like multitasking or investing in a Daytimer, she helps flip the focus where it needs to be–inward. She explains that every one of us possesses 6 innate powers, that when neglected, will result in a lack of clarity (Where did I put my keys?); a lack of passion (Not tonight, I’m too tired); and a feeling of being overwhelmed (There’s no way I can get that report done by five). Using enlightening self-assessment questions, practical exercises and journaling pages, she shows readers how to harness each power to make true life changes in just 8 weeks. It’s entirely possible to live the life you want. You can have less stress and more passion; less frustration and more fulfillment –this book will show you how.

I hope you find a source of inspiration from one of these titles on your own healing journey.

Enjoy!

Daily Rituals For A Beautiful Life

Daily Rituals for A Beautiful Life. Incorporate these 8 daily practices into your routine & positively transform your overall life & well-being.

Life gets hectic & we start to lose sight of basic, but crucial self-care practices. How can we possibly expect to give the best of ourselves to the world when we are burnt out, stressed & running on empty? Let the following serve as a guideline to get back to basics, by putting yourself first so you can give the best version of you to the world & start living a more beautiful fulfilling life.

1. Rise an hour Earlier

Waking up earlier alleviates a lot of unnecessary stress & allows time for crucial self-care practices with no disturbances. This will end up being easier than you think. By waking up earlier you will start going to bed earlier thus developing a new time frame for your body clock. Start off small at first but the benefits will enable you to start the day off in a much more positive & stress free way.

2. Exercise

This can be as simple as a daily 30 minute walk every morning or run if you prefer. It is great for your overall health, will help keep stress levels down throughout the day & help you to start the day feeling more energised.

3. Practice Yoga

By establishing a daily yoga practice into your morning, it will lower overall stress levels, help you start the day in a calm state of mind & make you nice & limber for the day ahead. 10 minutes will do just nicely, if you have more time, go for it!

4. Meditate

Start the day with clarity. Just a 10-minute session will make all the difference and enable you to handle whatever the day may bring.

5. Gratitude Journal

Keep the morning vibes positive. Write down at least 3 things you are grateful for, if you can think of more, great! Watch your happiness, health, relationships & overall life improve with this transformational daily practice!

6. Take an Epsom salt bath

Ideally you would schedule time for this ritual everyday but it is not always possible with busy schedules! Try to take the time out for this highly beneficial practice at least a few times a week of an evening, the benefits are worth it! Not only is an Epsom salt bath great for sore, tired muscles but it also helps detoxify the body & dissipates any negative energy stored throughout the day. Try adding some soothing aromatherapy oil such as lavender for an even more blissful experience.

7. Read

Continue to ease into the evening with a good book to soothe the soul before bed.

Reading before bed is a great way to clear the mind from all the unnecessary inner chatter of the day. If you can, try to read something uplifting & motivational to help end the day on a positive note. Otherwise something you enjoy will help you switch off & unwind. A great habit to get into is to switch from watching television in the evenings to reading a book!

8. Listen to guided meditation

To conclude the daily rituals for a beautiful life, end the day by entering into a sweet slumber with a guided meditation.

If you make the time to incorporate these 8 practices into your daily routine the difference you will notice within yourself & your life will be astounding. What are you waiting for?!

 A beautiful life awaits you!
